My partner doesn’t like sweets and they were gobbling the beignets up. The powder sugar was really fun too as when you bit into it the powdered sugar would go everywhere. I would recommend not wearing black or something that you want sugar all over. I was a bit disappointed with their coffee options. They had hot or cold coffee with only whole milk or sugar options. This coffee did pair well with the beignets as it wasn’t sugary. I did see someone dipping their beignets in the coffee. This place has a very limited menu. I know other people are very critical saying it’s not what they expected or the service was rushed. Come on people the place is busy as can be. They will be lucky to find a seat. There’s powdered sugar everywhere - it’s loud . It’s confusing. It’s expensive and it’s fried dough. Our waiter was lovely and the experience was worth it. The beignets were hot. They were delicious. They were covered in mounds of powdered sugar. The coffee was creamy and wonderful and hot. The view was incredible watching all of the people, the tourist, the locals. It was an amazing experience take it for what it’s worth. try to find a seat. Try to take a breath and enjoy the moment. And yes, make sure you get the powder sugar down the front of your shirt.
