Cafecitos is great addition to Lower Broadway Newark. The food is the classic Latin American flavors you seek but with an emphasis on quality and flair. Also, my wife and I have been there several times now and one of my favorite things to see is a constant rotation of regular customers from throughout the Latin Americas (which means word has quickly gotten out about this spot.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Wait timeNo wait

I had been waiting for this place to open. It did not dissapoint At All! The store is beautiful cozy modern yet with a touch of the culture. Presentation is beautiful! I tried the baked empanadas chicken and beef, capucino, pan cubano warmed up with butter, and a guava and cheese pastry. The empanadas were a mix of sweet and savory flavor was on point! Dough was soft and flacky. I recommend! The owner was front and center serving her customers. I love her humble personality. Support her small buisness here in Newark.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

I was looking for a great chocolate cake for an event and found Cafecitos in Newark—so glad I did! The cake was exactly what I wanted: rich and delicious. While I was there, I grabbed a cappuccino and some pastries, and everything was fresh and tasty. The prices were super reasonable, too.The café itself is very nice and has a cozy vibe. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or hanging out, it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommendFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Cafecitos is truly a neighborhood gem! It’s is really the kind of place this neighborhood sorely needed and it excelled in every aspect. The drinks are are perfect — not weak, not bitter. The pastries are a combination of European and Caribbean goodies. The Sandwiches are generally in their portions and very nicely seasoned. The place is super cute and clean too. And, as if all of that wasn’t enough, the prices are almost too affordable (so tip them well, folks!) this is the peptide r place to sit down and grab some coffee with a friend. I cannot recommend Cafecitos highly enough!!!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Wait timeNo waitParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot, Free street parking

We passed by and saw this new place was open. We wanted to try it. It’s nice to see pretty and inviting establishments in town. It was pretty empty when we went. They didn’t have many coffee options. Since it’s called cafecitos I thought it would be more varied. They had a few pastry options and some food options. I had one of the fresh made juices. It was well blended and mixed. The Cuban sandwich was very good. I’ve been to places where the ham is the show instead of the pork. I can’t wait for them to expand their coffee options. I will be back. Oh and it has private parking.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
