Very unique Denver landmark restaurant with a fascinating history. Love how it’s been preserved. Fun place to try especially if you want to try meats like Yak, elk, bison, etc. they do offer salmon for those who don’t eat meat but this is not a good choice for vegetarians or vegans. They have their own parking lot which is nice. Their is a train stop right across the street which is convenientFood: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5ReservationReservations recommendedNoise levelModerate noiseGroup sizeSuitable for all group sizesParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot

This is hands-down the best meat I’ve ever eaten. We are four people and decided to go all out, ordering ‘the big steak,’ and it was absolutely unbelievable—cooked to perfection, juicy, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere of the place is fantastic: cozy yet lively, with a vibe that makes you want to linger and enjoy every bite. The service is impressively fast, and the staff genuinely seem happy to be there, always smiling and attentive without being overbearing. Honestly, it’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and ambiance all come together so perfectly. We left completely satisfied and are already planning our next visit!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

We dined at Buckhorn Exchange and had a wonderful experience overall. We ordered the quail and the bone-in ribeye. The quail was perfectly prepared—tender, flavorful, and clearly done with care. The ribeye was cooked beautifully, though the seasoning was a bit on the lighter side for our taste. That said, the quality of the meat was excellent. What truly stood out was the service—absolutely flawless from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and professional. A classic Denver dining experience that we would happily return to.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5
