A true delight to visit the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, either for classes, private lessons, concerts, or to enjoy a relaxing moment in their magnificent garden entry area. During COVID, many virtual events are available, as well as remote lessons and learning. Music inspires, and so does the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and their building is a real gem.

I've been taking a class there and it is fantastic. Great teachers, nice facility, I even found parking to be easy. The other students are talented and motivated and it is a supportive environment. Even though I drive there from Long Island I found it is worth the trip!

Truly special place for music. Kind and beautiful people staffing here. We had a practice room with a beautiful Steinway piano for $17/ hour on a Friday. The school is spotless and has many resources for seeking out chamber music concerts and other avenues that you might need. A Brooklyn treasure.

Outdoor seating is great with 2 tented areas with other benched areas and tables and chairs. In the winter, the tents have overhead heating. The surrounding flora is beautiful. The kids love their teachers, and they have jam nights that the kids approve of

Great place to rent a studio and practice your instrument. Pianos are kept in good condition. Only downside is that the rooms are not entirely soundproofed. Reasonable prices, kind staff.

About Brooklyn Conservatory of Music

The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music is non-profit community music school that provides music education and music therapy to more than 7,000 New Yorkers across all five boroughs. The central location of the Conservatory is 58 Seventh Avenue, a historic Victorian brownstone located in Park Slope, where hundreds of musicians — ages 0 to 95 — gather each day to take classes and lessons, rehearse and collaborate. Within the historic building and beyond, the Conservatory also produces more than 200 low-cost musical events each year, partnering with some of New York’s most vital institutions, from art museums to refugee resettlement agencies to retirement communities.

I absolutely love this place. I had the great pleasure of attending their House Party on Thursday, November 4, 2021 and it was a vibe. So well organized, beautifully produced, and filled with incredibly talented musicians all throughout the space. I am so happy that a place like this exists!
