Birmingham Animal Hospital is always the best! They always take time with us to explain the best solutions for our pets, and you can tell they all truly love animals. Our pets are always spoiled with treats and end up loving the vet visits. :) They also give us tips for saving money and finding affordable solutions. I highly recommend!!

Birmingham Animal Hospital has officially become one of Ziggy’s favorite places on earth, which is saying something, because this miniature dachshund has extremely high standards when it comes to his favorite places—usually only met by sunny windowsills and freshly unfolded laundry.. Dr. Ham has a magical sort of energy that transforms Ziggy from “nervous wiener dog” to “confident king of the exam table.” She kneels down, says his name, and BOOM—instant wiggle overload and a tail wagging at warp speed. She’s warm, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and somehow manages to treat Ziggy’s health concerns and his enormous personality at the same time. Every visit is smooth, professional, and filled with genuine care. If your pet deserves the best (and a team that greets them like a celebrity), this is absolutely the place. Ziggy gives it two paws up, a happy howl, and a very enthusiastic tail wag. 🐾 Services Dog flea and tick treatment, Dog nail trimming

My husband and I are new to Birmingham and we did not have an established vet. My cat had an emergency that BAHR handled quickly (within the hour I called) and with so much care. They followed up with us multiple times after his surgery and are so thoughtful and kind. I’m so grateful Louie is under their care!!
