Our claim to fame is "Big City Styles and Low Country Prices!" We also love custom challenges. Basically, if you can dream it up or show us a piece you like and tell us how you'd like to change it, we can do it. Established in 1988. The barn was originally the center of livestock sales in Addison County and was linked to agriculture and cows from 1949-1986. Bub and Meg took ownership in 1986 and it took three years to renovate the barn from a functioning cattle barn to a commercial space that would serve as Bub's Barn for the next two and a half decades. And with the motto of 'The cows paid for the barn so you don't have to' the Crosby's built a loyal following for their furniture quality, selection and service.
Bub's Barn changed hands on October 1, 2014 and the Crosby's passed on the 16,000 square feet historic barn to new owner Peter Stevens. Welcoming you to Big Barn Home Center will be the same smiling faces of Belinda and Scott, who have stayed to continue the legacy of our product, service and selection that was the hallmark of the Crosby family and the foundation of Big Barn Home Center.
