Like every homeowner, the last people I want to see is Aidan of Vigilante Plumbing, and cohorts! That said, since I really needed a plumber; whom I really trust, and appreciate their expertise, I reached out to Vigilante Plumbing. These guys, Aidan, Josh, Carlos, and the ENTIRE TEAM @Vigilante really are the best! They're not the cheapest in Brooklyn, but they are the best. I have an old (100 years) house, and with an old house, Sh&t happens. I had the original water runoff piping system in the basement, which feeds out to the city systems. Three years ago, about a six inch or so crack developed in one section of the pipes, I reached for Flex Seal, and flex sealed the pipe crack with multiple layers of the flex seal tape. Aidan was at the house last month (August 2025) to snake the sewer line, and he noticed my flex seal job, and he just chuckled ... Fast forward to last weekend (September 2025) we had some heavy and persistent rainfall in Brooklyn, and I noticed another section of t
