Great experience - thank you BSC! We rented from the Bay Area. Brian was communicative and everything was as he discribed. We pick up the boat in Newport, then sailed to cuttyhunk, Edgartown, Nantucket, menenpsha and back to Newport. The vessel performed well with no issues. The engine was strong and started right up. Sails in excellent shape, water systems worked perfectly (drinkable water from taps with no smell or bad taste), heads and holding tanks worked well. Also, the refrigeration was nice and cold - we even kept ice frozen in the bottom. The dingy was easy to use and stated right up as well. We used the chart plotter in combination with the free Navionics app on our phones and it was a nice combination. The galley wasn’t the best, so, if you’re a foodie bring a cutting board and knives. The old school coffee percolator, actually made great strong coffee! Thank BSC for an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended

I can not recommend Brian and his crew at Bareboat Sailing in RI highly enough!! I've bareboared a good bit with our Sea Scouts from Charleston in the Carribean and the US. When the kids (14-18) at the end of the week, who have been on 3+ bareboats, say these are the best charter boats we've been on says volumes.The secret sauce is they own the boats. “Fantastic sailing weekend!” We chartered the Jeanneau 42. The experience was great all around . Brian and his team were super easy to communicate with . The yacht was well equipped with comfortable berths. Everything on board was clean and comfortable. The boat was loads of fun to sail! Despite the brevity of our trip, we managed to get to Block Island and back with ease . There are plenty of other destinations to explore and the Newport locution offers a great jumping off point. The Beneteau 42 is well maintained and all systems were functioning. The boat was well equipped with many options that included a GPS color chart plotters and a 10’ dinghy. We returned to Brenton Cove (Fort Adams) for another "bareboat" charter on the Beneteau Oceanis 42', "Summer Magic", a 2020 monohull sailboat from Bareboat Sailing Charters' fleet in Newport, RI. This year's one-week journey was another fantastic adventure. The boat was in great condition, well-equipped, and Vin made our check-in and briefing process smooth and efficient.The parking and moorings were convenient to the public dingy dock and to Fort Adams. This year's itinerary included two nights in BI's Old Salt Pond, and off to a scenic sunset in Cuttyhunk, and then off to Edgartown through Vineyard Sound, finally reversing our route to Newport. We returned during the Newport International Boat Show, topped off diesel and water in Jamestown across from the harbor, and easily avoided any congestion due to the show.The team from Bareboat Sailing Charters was friendly, knowledgable about the vessels, and just a text or call away with information as needed.
