These days, trying to find a trusted mechanic can be difficult in the sea of choices and reviews. I wanted to take the time to share my experience with Northeast Auto so that you can utilize their services with a high level of confidence. It was a Tuesday and my brakes began to grind and I had a 7 hour drive that following Thursday. I contacted this shop and was greeted by the impressive manager, Julie. I explained my situation and she did everything in her power to get my car in the shop that Wednesday and to guarantee that my brake repair would be completed by the end of the day. I asked what the potential cost would be and she said if I needed new rotors and brake pads, it could cost $300-$400 per axle. This was on par with estimates I had researched. Impressively, upon the Mechanic’s review, it was determined that I just needed brake pads AND that they would rotate my rotors instead of replacing them. If you're in the Indy area and you need any repairs to your vehicle, you must take it to Northeast Auto! I took my vehicle there for some major repairs a few months ago, and just last week I had some issues with my vehicle that turned out to be caused by an error made by a mechanic at Northeast Auto. I was far away from Indy and had to rent a car while my vehicle was being serviced in Pennsylvania. When I finally got back to Indy I took the repair invoice and the parts in to Northeast Auto, and the wonderful customer service rep (Julie) took all of my information and gave me the owner's email address to send all of my documentation. Right away I heard back from the owner (Earl), and he apologized for the mistake, asked what I thought was a reasonable offer to make it right, and within a day he authorized a check to cover the parts and labor for the repair, and he also reimbursed me for the cost of the rental car I needed while my vehicle was in the shop in PA for six days. I brought my Chevy Silverado in to have all leaks checked The lady at the front desk, said that they may have it for a day or two, but once it got in, they were able to get right in and diagnose it in a timely manner end up being just my oil pan gasket and I was done by 5:30 that day I would refer the shop to anyone. I am new to the shop and area I didn’t even know it was here until someone told me about it. I checked out the reviews and figured I’d give them a shot. I’m very pleased with the customer service and the service from the mechanics, I will definitely be back for more service.

I've been taking my cars to Northeast Auto since a friend recommended them to me in 2006. Ive always had great experiences with them. They've always been professional and prices are very competitive. Julie and all of the guys there have always been so nice. Today my husband and I picked up his car after having some repairs done.- I asked if one of the mechanics could listen to a noise my car had been making. He listened to it for 2 seconds, diagnosed the problem and offered to fix it for me right then. Less than 10 minutes later, it was fixed and they didn't charge me anything. I don't know of many places that would do any of these things. These guys are good as gold!

I can’t say enough positive things about Northeast Auto. We have taken my brothers car here about 4 times over the past two years for different things and each time they have provided not only the best customer service but they really care about the work they are doing and care to make sure work is done in a timely manner. Top notch auto service. I’ve been taking my trucks to Northeast for about 8 years. They’re highly professional, timely and communicate well. Julie at the front desk always keeps me updated on exactly whats going on with my vehicle. Never any run arounds, no overcharging, and no questionable service like i’ve encountered elsewhere. A couple months ago the intake on my truck blew out. I was looking at a substantial repair cost. The shop went above and beyond to get the costs to more manageable level and gave me the option of breaking the bill into separate payments. I live on the west side of town but still take my truck to Northeast for repairs because I know I can trust them. Highly recommended .

Highly recommend!! Very reputable and great customer service. Julie took great care of me. I had to return for a second repair shortly after having my water pump replaced. It might have been a coincidence that the car needed two repairs in 1 week, but they covered the second repair for me free of charge. I couldn't be happier with the service, and my car runs great.

I’ve had nothing but professional treatment from all but the front desk manager (Julie) is amazing. She goes above and beyond for her customers, ensured I stayed informed on all my repairs. I even purchased a vehicle from a local used car lot, and had their mechanic look the vehicle over. He identified multiple issues that I decided to return the vehicle to the dealership to return the vehicle. I was able to make an informed decision about my vehicles. Great job by all. I wish I could rate this higher than a 5. We made our trek into Indy and had a car accident driving through. Made it (barely) to the hotel but car drove horribly. Called first thing in the morning and spoke with Julie who got us right in to take a look at the damage, make a plan and get going on it. Just as we were coming to terms having to delay our trip and missing my son’s engagement celebration tonight, Julie stepped right in even further To say Julie and the mechanics team at NorthEast were beyond amazing would be such an understatement. Note for new customers: they have limited space for cars as they can't keep them in the lot overnight- best to call ahead to check if they can get you in! This was my first time here- I was recommended by a friend. The service was quick and reasonably priced, and Julie (Julia?) Was great to chat with while I waited. Northeast Auto has been my go to spot for years now. Its in a convenient location and open early for car drop off. They do great work and are professional and honest. I've referred several of my friends who have also had great experiences dealing with Northeast Auto. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and work in record time to get the work done and your vehicle back to you. Julie at the front desk is extremely helpful in keeping you updated as to what needs to be done and what options you have in regards to repairs. Can I give these guys 10 stars for going the extra mile for me? This is by far the best auto work I have ever received. They not only fixed what I came in for, but also they cleaned my battery terminals, greased them, cleaned my engine cover, and secured my muffler. They chose quality parts for replacement and kept the price reasonable. They even gave me time to do my own research so I could come to the most practical conclusion, which was the one they gave me. If that doesn't demonstrate aptitude and quality of service I don't know what does. Best auto mechanic on the northeast side. Hands down!

My mom came in for service and was treated fairly . She went to a previous shop and the shop manager was extremely rude to her . Julie and her team were very inviting and displayed great customer service . The techs were very friendly. She was in and out in no time. My mom will definitely be coming back for future services . Was the start of a good weekend until my waterpump went out on I-465... this is where the luck came in, got off on 56th street exit and sat to let it cool off, Google showed me Northeast Auto Service, after a call to them knew I had to get there, got a mile away and totally died, Julie sent a mechanic to see if I could jump the car to get it there, Alan came and looked and knew it wouldn't make it, Julie got the wrecker to me and got the car, spent the night at the quality inn, I'll review them later, Julie called me this morning and sent pictures, told her to proceed with repairs3 hours later after Alan repaired and test drove it I was back on the road. Thankful for Northeast Auto and the friends I made there. If I lived there I would take all my cars to them. Customer service was above par. The work done was above par and felt comfortable getting back behind the wheel and finishing my journey. Can't thank them enough!
