Several months ago a bought the 16 needle Melco embroidery machine from Branum's. Their representatives brought it to my house, set it up and had it working in just an hour or so. They have been very supportive. Their representative has even come back several times to help me out. I have used this machine extensively and have always found the people very helpful in answering my multitude of questions and making suggestions for improvements. They have been very accessible in the store, by phone and e-mail. I like the machine very much and the cooperative, knowledgeable and patient personnel are a pleasure to work with.

We came to look at their vacuum. The nice lady helps us pick that met our needs and we were allowed to test it out. Once we got it home, it worked wonderful on our carpets.

I purchased my Bernina 765 here and I am thrilled with it. The staff has been wonderfully helpful as I learned to navigate the ins and outs of my machine and embroidery unit. I've taken several classes here and all have been excellent. I'm undertaking my first quilting project and expect to take the beginner quilting class. These are outstanding professionals and I have never been afraid to ask questions or for extra help. I recommend them highly.

Beautiful store, friendly staff. We enjoyed our visit and appreciated the nice variety of fabric and notions. But the best part of the experience was the interaction with the staff. Everyone we spoke with was extremely hospitable and helpful. Will definitely return next time I'm in Augusta.

Seems like an amazing local store, but I couldn't be in there for more than a minute due to the excessive scents they had sprayed and going. Yes it's fall, we all enjoy a little pumpkin spice, but I have never been anywhere so scented!

Fun staff, great repair techs, classes, machines, and fabric and tools. A great one-stop location. I really appreciate the attention to detail on historic and antique Singers. Wouldn't take my featherweight anywhere else. Nice selection. Not the most budget friendly but you pay for the extras and if you can afford it, it's worth the spend.

While working on an embroidery project, the needle broke on my Bernina 780 embroidery machine. I removed the needle clamp but the tip of the clamp broke inside, so the needle would not come out. I took it to a local (I live in Savannah, GA) "Bernina Service Center" to have the tip removed. When I dropped off my B780 on December 9, 2025 the owner/technician said I would receive my machine back in a few days. On January 13, 2026 I received a call from him that he "removed the the clamp tip, but broke the plastic piece inside and that I needed to have the needle bar replaced. He also said that he could not replace the needle bar because he is no longer an authorized Bernina Service Center so he did not have the parts or tools to replace. I panicked. I immediately googled "Authorized Bernina Service" and Atlanta & Augusta Sewing Center popped up. They have two locations, and the Augusta Sewing Center was closer than Atlanta at 2.5 hours away from my home in Savannah. I called
