We worked with Appleton to build the Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce website from the ground up, and we are really proud of the final results from our collaboration. Appleton was especially strong on the technical and strategic side of the project, helping us translate a complex mission with many different audiences into a website that is easy to use and navigate. A standout achievement was transforming hundreds of rows of behavioral health workforce data into a custom interactive data dashboard that makes statewide workforce information accessible, usable and actionable for policymakers and other decision-makers. Appleton built a custom interactive map and projected supply/demand line graph of Florida’s 67 counties and six regions that pulls directly from the data, allowing stakeholders to quickly filter by provider type, county or region and clearly see where the workforce exists and where gaps remain.
