This has to be the place to hire bikes. A 5 minute walk from The Egan centre where the cruise bus drops off. Peter is so friendly and welcoming and helpful. We rented e-bikes. The printed sheet and map he gave us were really useful. If you take the route back through the sea plane airport ensure you read and take note of the instructions. Not difficult but a bit detailed. If you’re a plane spotter stand at the end of Anchorage airport and watch the planes landing at this busy airport. 3 miles out of the town on the trail we saw a moose with her offspring. Allow 3-4 hours. With e bikes it’s great. Thank you Peter, really great.

Peter did an amazing job getting us set up for success on our winter adventure. He brought us into the shop, made a great recommendation to try out 2 different e bikes ( very efficient ), and informed us of great paths with better views, and ideal timing. When we returned he quickly got us squared away and back on the way to explore the rest of Anchorage. Couldn't recommend more.

Friendly service with detailed information on where to go and bikes that are well maintained. I went along the 11 mile coastal trail and did encounter 8 moose including a fairly sizable bull. Easily the best 20$ I spent in a long time to see at least a bit of Alaska during my very brief stay.
