Mark Sousa, best known as Dr. Pond, is the owner of Action Water Gardens Inc., and has been in the landscape and water gardens business for over 17 years. Mark offers and provides one on one consultation on the issues you are facing, whether you are installing for the first time or simply maintaining your current garden or waterfall. His business focuses solely on water gardens, ponds, fountainscapes and waterfalls. It's also an authorized dealer for Aquascape as well as a certified member of the National Wildlife Federations Wildlife Habitat. Action Water Gardens website gives a thorough presentation, both informational and visual, of his business, including everything you need to know about water features, pond maintenance, and fish accessories. Don't wait - call the Doctor! Established in 1996. Action Construction & Landscaping Services did everything - mowing lawns, yard clean-ups, landscaping projects, building renovations and additions, Unilock patios and sidewalks, and more. In 1999, Mark began installing water features along with the patios, sidewalks, and landscaping. Not only did Mark love the ponds, waterfalls and fish, but his customers did as well. Nine years later - January 2005, Mark officially changed the name of the business to Action Water Gardens, Inc.
Originally the retail division of Action Water Gardens, Inc. was in his garage in Vernon, Connecticut. As the business expanded, it didn't take long to outgrow the garage and the business moved to its present location in Tolland, Connecticut. Mark renovated the overgrown landscape and a dilapidated barn at 47 Hartford Turnpike to the spectacular showroom and certified wildlife habitat it is now.
