I have always had extreme fear of dentists and have avoided visits… after a recommendation from a friend I went to see Dr Marlen and for the first time ever, I felt comfortable in the dentist chair. He was extremely gentle, explained everything he was going to do even while he was doing it. His staff was extremely accommodating to my fears and anxiety providing me with headphones glasses an event Chapstick felt like I was in a salon! Dr Marlen did not rush and really took his time to fix my issue. At no point was I in pain or discomfort. I wanted to share my experience with Dr Marlen and his fantastic team. My story is slightly different as I didn’t go looking for a perfect smile. I had an issue that several dentists referred to as a ‘very serious’ issue with my bite. The couple of options offered to me were quite honestly scary and somewhat life altering. I was skeptical about seeing Dr Marlen as he is about 60 miles away from me. He suggested a different approach to correcting my bite and getting my bite functional, he completely redid my upper and some bottom teeth to get the bite corrected. The overall treatment has taken a little over a year, between Invisalign, implants and cosmetic work, but the experience was as painless as can be. His team treats you with respect and compassion.
