Serving Newton and surrounding communities since 1990. Established in 1990. I became interested in acupuncture after it helped me recover from injuries resulting from an automobile accident in the 1986. I briefly worked in a health and fitness center in Boston, then opened my private practice in Newtonville in 1990. I graduated from the New England Shiatsu Center (1990) and the New England School of Acupuncture (1997). I then pursued advanced studies with various Chinese and Japanese master acupuncturists and herbalists. I'm attentive, compassionate and thorough in my approach. I've developed techniques to achieve fast results using acupuncture, bodywork, and other modalities (cupping, guasha, moxabustion, electros-stimulation, etc.) concurrently or sequentially during the same treatment. I am licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine and nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM. I have been in the same office since 1990, conveniently located three blocks west of the Newtonville Whole Foods Market on Washington Street.see more
