The role

We are currently seeking the services of a Business Development Executive to help drive and develop new business across the celebrated Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for creating new business across casual mall leasing, media, and brand activation income lines via outbound sales. You will play an integral role in developing pathways to grow the centre's net income whilst also creating enhanced experiences and destinations.

This is a broad, dynamic role focused on the generation and management of all third-party revenue other than income, generated via a retail lease, electricity agreements and car park.

What you will be doing

  • Delivering allocated budget and occupancy across all relevant income lines; CML, Media and Storage.
  • Developing and executing key strategies to achieve stretch income targets and opportunities.
  • Driving new revenue opportunities that deliver commercial returns and enhance the customer experience.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients and media agencies, providing a high level of solution-focused customer service.
  • Identifying key market and business trends to drive first to market retail experiences and leverage emerging retail categories.
  • Developing and executing an annual Business Development Strategy aligned to the Asset Business Plan.

What makes you stand out

To be successful in this role, you will need a background in sales or business development with a proven track record generating new business income and delivering initiatives to consistently meet budget. Previous retail property or media sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

More importantly, you will be passionate, self-motivated and driven to proactively canvas the market to secure new business opportunities, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders. Given the financial measures of this position, you will also need meticulous financial management and budgeting skills.

This role would suit a sale focused and creative individual who is solution oriented and wishes to develop their skills within a leading property management company.
