Job Description

    Certification DetailsBLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved.Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN’s and LPN/LVNs.NIH Certification is required.Ascension EKG Exam must be passed with a score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts.Ascension Unit Specific Checklist is optional for Onboarding.Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation must be completed.Ascension Nova StatStrip is required.Other certifications such as CPR are mandatory.
      Job DetailsProvides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
        Schedule InformationContract length is 13 weeks.
          Additional DetailsMust be AHA BLS and ACLS certified.Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years: Ascension Color Vision.HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics should be known.
