    Certification DetailsBLS, PALS, Nursys, License/Certificate Verification, NRP, Ascension Pharmacology Exam, Ascension Color Vision, Ascension Core Competencies, Ascension EKG Exam, Ascension Unit Specific Checklist, Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation, Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding, Ascension Nova StatStrip, MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire, Health Statement, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), Varicella, Tdap required certifications and health history.
      Job DetailsProvides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
        Job RequirementsCurrent license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.Nursys quick confirm verifications should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.Must be AHA BLS and PALS certified.Pharmacology exam required.Ascension Core Competencies and Ascension EKG Exam must be completed with a score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts.
          Additional DetailsNursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs.Upload Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation, Ascension Nova StatStrip.Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer documentation required.
