What will you be doing in your role?
- Support program staff to provide services which may include:
- Provide client transportation for school enrollment, immunizations, workshops and classes
- Assist clients with school enrollment and re-enrollment
- Assist clients with language and culture interpretation with service providers
- Accompany clients to service provider appointments to assist with language interpretation, cultural communication and assistance with forms and paperwork
- Serve as a link between CCFW and refugee communities to increase awareness of program services
- Collaborate with program staff to facilitate service delivery
- Communicate client concerns with program staff
- Cultivate positive relationships with relevant schools’ social service providers and other community partners
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with clients
Are you the next Refugee School Impact Case Aid?
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas drivers license and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicle
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Must be computer literate
- Bilingual skills in a common client language preferred- Dari or Pashto
Heres the Good Stuff...
- Temporary Full-time or part-time, hourly position with a starting range of $17 based on minimum job requirements. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
- This role will end on June 30th.
