Position Overview: As a Technical Writing/Communication Intern, you will play a crucial role in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that supports our products and services. You will collaborate with various departments, including engineering, product management, and proposal writing, to produce high-quality materials that will help with overall user experience and exhibit our capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the creation and proofreading of responses to proposals and requests for information.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and understand technical concepts.
  • Translate complex technical information into user-friendly content.
  • Edit and proofread documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Update and revise existing documentation based on management guidance.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical communication.
  • Assist with developing standard templates for office policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with any documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker).
  • Experience with AI content creation is a plus
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
