Application for CTS/CTF Red Seal/Dual Credentialed teaching positions.

Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Establishes clear objectives and outlines Prepares for assigned classes, and

Establishes clear objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of Alberta Education, and communicates these objectives to students.
Instructs using a variety of instructional approaches appropriate for grade level, student needs and program focus.
Observes and evaluates students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Prepares materials for learning, and classrooms for activities, as appropriate

Plans and conducts activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Under the guidance of the Principal and in compliance with the Education Act and CBE regulations
Prepares for assigned classes, and demonstrates written evidence of preparation upon request.
Assigns lessons and corrects homework

Required Skills & Experience Education and Experience Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Bachelor of Education Degree or

Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and lesson design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of student learning
Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education
Knowledge of human behavior and performance
Education and Experience

Knowledge and awareness of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, and cultures
individual differences in ability, personality, and interests
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
