Job Description
Constellation Service Company is now hiring for a Staff Accountant! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional to support our core financial operations. This role spans payroll and tax compliance, inventory management, treasury functions, and general accounting support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across a variety of financial activities. Key responsibilities Treasury & Cash Flow Support • * Assist with managing company credit cards and fuel card programs • Monitor and record cash transactions to support accurate cash flow tracking • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations • Review and upload payment batches Tax & Regulatory Compliance • * Support tax-related reconciliations, reporting, and compliance • Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings • Assist with year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s, 1099s) Inventory Management • * Maintain and reconcile inventory records; ensure consistency between physical counts and system data • Participate in periodic inventory audits; identify and resolve discrepancies • Support month-end and year-end inventory closing processes General Accounting Support • * Assist with month-end close activities and reporting • Provide accounting and administrative support as needed Position Requrements Qualifications: • * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Proficient with accounting software • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Constellation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, complies with Executive Order 11246, and takes affirmative action to ensure that qualified applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to race, color, religion/creed, national origin, gender, or sex, marital status, age, disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by Federal or State law or local ordinance.Min Qualification
