SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Manager, Corporate Contracts is a dynamic and fast-paced role with three key responsibilities: 1. Support cross-functional departments to drive best practices in sourcing, negotiating, and contracting 2. Develop and manage new programs to reduce spend on corporate contracts 3. Develop and manage new programs and contracts to leverage systemwide franchisee spend. These responsibilities will include supplier qualification, due diligence, price negotiation, terms and conditions negotiation, cost analysis and contract management. The Sr. Manager, Corporate Contracts will be held accountable for developing procurement strategies and upholding best practices in procurement. This role reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop organizational processes, templates, and assets to drive best practices in procurement across the organization
Work collaboratively with department leadership to develop procurement strategies
Negotiate and draft business terms within complex contracts and amendments
Monitor and ensure contract compliance with contractual obligations
Identify and mitigate contractual risks
Lead the process of qualifying and conducting due diligence on potential new suppliers
Serve as the internal subject matter expert for negotiating corporate contracts
Develop and cultivate relationships with current and potential supplier partners
Establish service level agreements and other terms and conditions to drive value for the brand
Identify and execute cost savings initiatives for corporate and franchisees to improve costs without compromising quality and service
Drive the implementation of new tools and processes to improve strategic sourcing methods
Communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to internal stakeholders
10+ years of experience in a procurement, contract management or strategic sourcing role
8+ years of intensive experience with contract negotiation and management
Experience procuring and developing technology and service-based contracts
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, supply chain, or related field
Specialized education or training in negotiation is desired
Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, policies, and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and legal requirements
Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an appreciation of and attention to important details
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
Must be computer proficient (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
