Born a BLACK HAWK® helicopter, the Sikorsky FIREHAWK® aircraft relies on its proven military design to endure the unrelenting physical stresses demanded of the aerial firefighting and utility missions.

Since 2000, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department has proven the operational performance of its S-70A™ FIREHAWK® helicopters, saving untold lives and properties as part of a highly effective air and ground wildland fire attack team.

Now, a new generation S-70i™ FIREHAWK® helicopter brings enhanced capability and flight safety to its high-payload role: extra power margin when dropping water or inserting firefighters at the fire line; 4 g maneuverability when fully loaded; a stronger airframe; and greater water drop control.

A true multi-mission aircraft, the FIREHAWK helicopter can be quickly reconfigured in flight for search and rescue, hoist rescues and medical transport, even with its 1,000-gallon (3,785 L) external water tank still attached.

WHO YOU ARE
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Lockheed Martin Company, is seeking a Senior Contracts Negotiator to support the international and commercial Contracts portfolio under Global Military and Commercial Systems (GCMS) and Army Air Force Systems (AAFS). The candidate would also serve as the lead contracts manager for the Sikorsky FireHawk business. The successful candidate will participate in all areas of helicopter sales for international government and commercial customers. Responsibilities include assisting in creating contracts, developing negotiation, ensuring contract compliance and efficient contract administration, establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally. Advises management of contract matters and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Manages and participates in and/or conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for accurate contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, customer specifications and legal requirements. Lead and/or assist leadership in crafting and holding training sessions with other GCMS/AAFS staff members. Participates in proposal preparation by reviewing proposal request terms, conduct risk analysis and assist collection contract terms and risks and assists the program teams in developing mitigation strategies for proposal submittals. Is responsible for the evaluation of contract performance to resolve necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Multiple years of professional experience; related Masters degree preferred

- Experience in Contracts or a related function.

- Experience with International Contract Drafting and Negotiations.

- Ability to travel and support negotiations globally quarterly.

Desired skills
- 5 years experience in Direct Commercial Sales or commercial aerospace sales.

- Experience with all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration. Prior experience with independence cost estimate (ICE) function; exposure to commercial pricing and finance is desired.

- Experience with multiple legal document types (bailment agreements, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, etc.)

- Foreign language skills and interest in foreign cultures are also desirable.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
