Breezy Inc in Jacksonville, FL is looking for one sous chef to join our 21 person strong team. We are located on 1402 San Marco Boulevard. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. Responsibilities • Supervise line cook, prepcook and kitchen staff • Help train, mentor, and discipline kitchen employees Train and develop cooks to company standards • Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs • Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards • Help with scheduling kitchen staff • Inspect work stations for cleanliness • Conduct weekly inventory • Oversee daily prep and cooking Qualifications • Experience working as a sous chef or chef • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines • Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed • Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume We are looking forward to receiving your application.
