Qualifications:

• BSN or BA in a healthcare-related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Washington RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Clinical nursing experience relevant to given dept (usually 3-4 yrs), including 2 years leadership experience.

Position Summary:

Work in collaboration with Nurse Manager. Provide day-to-day leadership and management of Home Health. Develop and supervise staff and support overall department administration. Manage staffing/scheduling, budget, and staff regulatory compliance. Ensure daily decisions are consistent with service quality, clinical quality, utilization of resources, and fiscal outcomes. Assist in the development of departmental policies. Act on behalf of manager. Utilize continuous improvement philosophy with department/staff. Assist in accreditation processes with state and federal agencies. Ensure hospital quality metrics are met and practices are consistent with national requirements. Make administrative decisions and provide direction, supervision, and assistance with operational issues for in the absence of other managers. Respond to urgent hospital system needs during designated hours.

Note: Weekly payrate is dependent on experience.
