FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR
Seeking seasoned professional with LTC experience & ability to organize/manage the dietary needs of a 280-bed SNF located on the eastern end of LI. Servsafe certertificate required, certified dietary manager certificate desirable. Must possess leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach and lead staff. Must have knowledge of and ability to monitor and teach food texture types, how to achieve textures, and diet types. Responsible for ordering food and equipment needs based on menu and established pars, ensuring compliance with HACCP and servsafe, ensuring compliance with state and federal food service guidelines, maintaining cleaning schedules for assigned staff, monitoring adherence to standardized menus/recipes and production, and ensuring timely service of nutritious and palatable meals.
