Job Description
The HT Group is partnering with a growing investment entity based in Ft. Myers looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant for an immediate need. This is a growth-driven role ideal for someone with a strong QuickBooks background and a proactive, hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in setting up accounts, onboarding processes, and managing financial operations as the company scales. The role will begin remotely before moving to a hybrid role in the next few months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial reports
• Set up new accounts and support onboarding of accounting processes
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized company
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Experience with payroll processing and compliance
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP, and AR functions
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
