SHR Talent is partnering with a client near Nashville, TN in its search for a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing company in the home services industry. The Senior Accountant role is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking for hybrid flexibility, career advancement, and exposure to a growing operational business. As the Senior Accountant, you will focus heavily on revenue accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and data integrity. The Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone with strong general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting experience who thrives in a dynamic, scaling environment. Candidates with strong Excel and data management skills, a strong analytical mindset and the ability to solve problems independently who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment and have backgrounds in public accounting, large corporate accounting, or multi-entity accounting will excel in the role as the Senior Accountant. Responsibilities: • Lead core areas of the month-end close process • Perform detailed revenue accounting, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis, and variance reviews • Prepare and maintain accurate account reconciliations • Work with large data sets using Excel to identify issues, trends, and discrepancies • Support financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness • Assist with process improvements, system updates, and automation efforts • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and senior leadership • Contribute to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) enhancements, including tools such as NetSuite and ServiceTitan • Provide ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and data insights for decision-making Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 4+ years of accounting experience • Experience in public or large corporate accounting, preferred • Proficient in Excel, specifically pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and modeling • Experience in General Ledger, Revenue, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) accounting • NetSuite experience, a plus • Willingness to learn new systems, required #IND123Min Qualification
