• This is a seasonal position with weekend and holiday scheduling requirements.
• Weekend availability is essential, as well as the ability to work during peak holiday periods.

The Job

As Retail Associates, our team members play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. They warmly greet and assist customers, provide product recommendations, and maintain a clean and organized space. Our Retail Associates operate cash registers, handle will-call orders, and manage customer waitlists efficiently. They also contribute to store opening and closing tasks, ensuring that the shopping environment is welcoming and well-maintained. With a focus on positive customer interactions, this role essential in delivering outstanding service and representing evo.

The Opportunity

• Greet guests, and create a welcoming environment to both retail and rental locations.
• Handle a bustling and busy host stand with fluid communication and respect.
• Listen to guests to determine and meet the specific needs of each customer with kindness and honesty.
• Coordinate guests with appropriate and available sales staff.
• Thoroughly learn and understand our systems, policies, and procedures, including waitlists and appointment programs.
• Work with a motivated team to elevate guest experiences while exceeding expectations in all situations through thoughtful and efficient problem solving.
• Attend product clinics to gain a solid understanding of the gear and consistently seek to improve personal product knowledge.
• Merchandise the store during downtimes: folding, hanging, stocking, receiving, cleaning, organizing.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Must Haves

• Previous experience in the retail industry or restaurant is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Comfortable engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming environment for all
• Willingness to learn about the products and services offered.
• Honest communicator who welcomes the exchange of direct feedback
• Reliable and able to work full day shifts, weekdays and weekends
• Must be available to work during the holidays with no planned vacations
• Adaptability, attention to detail, cash handling, communication, conflict resolution, customer service, inventory management multitasking, product knowledge, teamwork

The Nice to Haves

• Experience with Point of Sales System preferred.

The base wage for this role ranges from $18.29 to $21.75. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
