Motor City Seafood Company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Seafood Sales Consultant to join our team in the Metro Detroit market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for seafood, strong sales skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Seafood Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, driving sales, and promoting our wide range of seafood products.

• Identify and target potential customers in the foodservice and retail sectors.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

• Stay informed about our product offerings, including new arrivals and seasonal specials.
• Educate clients about the quality, sustainability, and sourcing of our seafood products.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand.

• Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports.
• Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and strategies.
• Assist in inventory management and order processing as needed.

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the foodservice or seafood industry.
• Strong knowledge of seafood products and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required.
