Purpose:

The Resident Care Coordinator is a member of the Administrative Team responsible for ensuring proper and adequate staffing to care for the residents. The Resident Care Coordinator at all times should promote the Mission of the Company.

The Resident Care Coordinator position is generally a Monday through Friday position, 8:30 am – 5: 30 pm. There will be times the Resident Care Coordinator will work late, early, weekends and holidays. Additional non-scheduled hours may be required. Every 4-6 weeks will assume Manager on duty.

The Resident Care Coordinator is a full time position.

Qualifications:

* 25 years of age or older
* 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
* Computer skills including word, excel and outlook
* Experience in management, decision making, scheduling, and staffing
* Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

* Participate in the hiring process of hospitality-oriented resident care staff
* Create the weekly schedule for the care staff, ensuring that all shifts are covered.
* Train and supervise staff in order to maintain a highly functioning team environment
* Review job performance of care staff in order to ensure that our residents are receiving the best service possible
* Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence and resident satisfaction.
* Facilitate communication with resident, family member and the outside community.
* Supervise the day-to-day operation while upholding the fulfillment of all applicable laws and regulations.:

Other:

* Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification
* Yearly TB clearance
* Physician Physical clearance upon hire
* Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
* Random drug screens will be conducted upon hire, quarterly and as needed
