Job Description
Qualified Accountant - FMCG - Limerick- 5 days in the office.
Reporting to the FD on site , your duties will include:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including gross margin.
• Maintain and reconcile the balance sheets, ensuring accuracy at each month-end.
• Oversee the fixed asset register and associated controls.
• Detailed analysis of business unit performance, investigating variances against budget and prior year.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insightful variance analysis.
• Support the Finance Director in preparing financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, sales, admin) to ensure financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Provide oversight of our monthly and fortnightly payroll.
The ideal candidate:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Min 5 years' experience in management accounting,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial management systems.
