Job Summary: |
The CU Department of Anesthesiology seeks a Procurement & Contracts Specialist, hereinafter referred to as “Specialist,†at the rank of either Intermediate Professional or Senior Professional, dependent on candidate experience, who is responsible for understanding University, CU Medicine, and Departmental procurement and contracting expectations, guidelines, and processes and developing and/or revising procurement and contracting workflows for increased departmental efficiencies. The Specialist will identify centralized resources and assist in developing department-specific resources for both procurement- and contract-related needs. The Specialist will work closely with managers to research, develop, and document internal policies and procedures and will communicate with the University and CU Medicine Procurement and Contracting teams, as needed. Work Location: |
Onsite to Hybrid – This role is expected to work onsite initially for at least four months to build and establish relationships and is located in Aurora, Colorado. After four months and upon the supervisor’s determination, the role will be considered for a flexible hybrid work schedule. The supervisor is responsible for determining the number of on-campus days/week based on the positions level of focus work, collaboration needs, etc. The Department places a high value on building working relationships and collaboration, and therefore, all department staff have mandatory on-campus days. |

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Intermediate: $48,265 - $61,393 Senior: $52,178 - $66,371 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
