Iconica is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer Intern to join our team for summer 2025! Join our growing team and be a part of something transformative!In this role, you’ll collaborate with Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Design Engineers, focusing primarily on plumbing system design, including domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm systems. Your experience will involve:
- Performing design calculations and ensuring code compliance.
- Developing schematic designs, design development, and construction documents.
- Preparing specifications.
- Assisting with design coordination across disciplines and with architects.
- Conducting site inspections and observing construction progress.
- Reviewing shop drawings.
- Enrollment in an Architectural or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Previous internship experience in design-build or construction (preferred).
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM360 (preferred).
- Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities or student organizations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- High initiative and passion for learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
