Plumber Helper
Ziegler Plumbing and Sewer, Inc.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Plumbing Helper will assist the Plumber (Lead Technician) with a wide variety of plumbing services including but not limited to sewer line installation and repair, water line installation and repair, commercial and residential plumbing services including drain cleaning, repair of leaks, water closet, lavatory and water heater installation and repair. The Helper position will participate in a wide variety of tasks each day.
Work will be both inside and outside. Shovel digging, backfilling trenches, and safe lifting/ handling of equipment such as sewer cleaning machines, tampers and wheel barrows is routine.
Helpers must be willing and able to drive service vans and pick up trucks including pulling trailers. Job preparation tasks include assuring all tools, equipment and material are loaded on the truck.
Following the completion of the job, checking the job site prior to leaving thus assuring tools, equipment and unused material are returned to the shop. Helpers are expected to be self-motivated, showing leadership and initiative in the execution of their duties.
Helpers will take direction from the Plumber, however, will be expected to solve problems and anticipate needs to complete jobs. Rotating on-call work schedule required (minimum of 1 week per month).

All job required certification are also paid.
