Summary

As a Salesforce Platform Engineer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce technology critical to RNDCs sales operations. Your contributions will directly impact the companys objectives, ensuring the Salesforce platform meets and exceeds expectations.

In this role, you will

  • Team Contribution: Work collaboratively with a team of engineers, participating in architecture, demand delivery, code reviews, release management, implementation, support, presentations, and meetings.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with fellow engineers to drive ongoing process improvements, enhancing team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Full Lifecycle Development: Perform full lifecycle Salesforce development tasks, from conceptualization and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Technical Evaluation: Test and evaluate the technical aspects of decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to best practices.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Review codes, assess code quality, and provide timely solutions to issues, maintaining high standards of development.
  • Analytics and Monitoring: Implement analytics and monitoring routines to ensure the health and performance of Salesforce solutions.
  • Custom Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including customizing Salesforce objects, building applications, and integrating Salesforce with other systems.
  • Release Pipeline Engineering: Engineer and support release pipeline automations involved with the Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.

What you bring to RNDC

  • Currently enrolled college student majoring in computer science, information technology, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform development, including Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce, and Salesforce object customization.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with other applications, systems, and platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to adhering to Salesforce best practices, documentation standards, and maintaining test classes for all custom development.
  • Eagerness to stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities, providing recommendations on leveraging them to enhance client solutions.
