JOB DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the Tutor is to assist with academic support. While acting in the tutor capacity this position will be responsible for providing individual academic support needed to close achievement gaps.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mississippi Teaching License
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, time management skills and ability to multitask
- Provide assistance to the individual needs of students
- Assist with record keeping
- Abide by confidentiality regulations
- Effectively monitor student(s) behavior.
- Assist, as requested, in transition activities;
- Other responsibilities assigned by administration
