Part-Time Payroll Coordinator
Job Description
SWBC is seeking a talented individual to perform a variety of payroll related tasks which include maintaining employee and payroll records, complete verifications of employment, assign and work on tickets in the payroll ticketing system and train to backup payroll specialist(s). Researches and resolves inquiries as they relate to the processing of payroll information; and assists in special projects assigned by management.
Essential duties include the following:
- Reviews, assigns and processes payroll tickets in FogBugz ticketing system.
- Responds to verifications of employment.
- Collects and distributes mail.
- Responsible for scanning payroll documents, batches and records into appropriate folders and record retention.
- Trains as a back-up for timekeeping system.
- Performs other duties as required.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Strong clerical, administrative and general office skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A Team player.
