DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Assistant with a great attitude and love of customer service. This position is in office and will report to the Hazleton office location. The Payroll Assistant provides day-to-day functions necessary to support our team and customers.
- Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the payroll department.
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
- Review payroll entry for accuracy.
- Review tax information in Paylocity system for new hires.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes and deductions promptly and professionally.
- Train to be payroll back up for processing payroll.
- Process child support garnishments.
- Investigate and respond to tax agency requests.
