DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Assistant with a great attitude and love of customer service. This position is in office and will report to the Hazleton office location. The Payroll Assistant provides day-to-day functions necessary to support our team and customers.

  • Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the payroll department.
  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
  • Review payroll entry for accuracy.
  • Review tax information in Paylocity system for new hires.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes and deductions promptly and professionally.
  • Train to be payroll back up for processing payroll.
  • Process child support garnishments.
  • Investigate and respond to tax agency requests.
