Position Summary
The Offsite Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sales growth through community outreach, corporate partnerships, event marketing, and local business relationships. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, generating catering and corporate orders, and ensuring Nothing Bundt Cakes remains top-of-mind for celebrations of all kinds.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Growth & Outreach
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, schools, event planners, and community organizations.
• Actively seek and secure offsite sales opportunities such as corporate gifting, catering, and fundraising events.
• Conduct regular sales calls, visits, and sampling events to introduce products and generate leads.
Marketing & Community Engagement
• Plan and execute local marketing campaigns and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
• Represent the bakery at community events, expos, and business networking meetings.
• Collaborate with bakery leadership to develop seasonal promotions and marketing materials aligned with brand standards.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Deliver an exceptional brand experience when engaging with clients and community partners.
• Follow up on leads, maintain client databases, and ensure repeat business through relationship-building.
Reporting & Coordination
• Track sales activity, report performance metrics, and provide feedback to the leadership team.
• Work closely with the bakery team to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of offsite orders.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or community outreach (hospitality or retail industry preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a confident, professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (travel to offsite locations required).
• Passion for spreading joy and creating positive experiences that align with the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (for transporting sampling/event materials).
• Comfortable standing for extended periods during events or outreach visits.
Benefits:
After 90 days, full-time employees are eligible for medical/vision insurance and two-weeks paid leave. After a full year, full-time employees will be eligible for 401k with 6% company match.
In addition to salary, commissions may be earned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,500.00 - $42,500.00 per year
