The City of Norwalk is currently looking for a Nutrition Aide to join their team and work in the Elderly Nutrition program at the Social Services Center. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for serving the senior community of Norwalk and possess a positive and compassionate attitude toward their work. The Nutrition Aide will assist the Recreation Supervisor in managing the nutrition program for Home Delivered Meals and Congregate.
This role involves providing administrative and programmatic support to the assigned Site Coordinators and Meal Drivers in coordinating senior program services.

Maintain a courteous attitude toward the public and co-workers, and ability to operate a computer, calculator, and other office equipment. Education and ExperienceGraduation from High School or GED equivalent and/or a minimum of one (1) year experience in performing the duties in one or more of the areas listed above.
