About the Role:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team with our Urology Medical Group. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing care to patients in the office and local hospitals. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and unrestricted DEA and CDS
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in primary care and urology conditions
- Experience in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications
- Providing patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Skills:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to provide high-quality patient care. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise in family medicine, pain management, clinical assessments will be essential in developing individualized treatment plans and providing patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention. Additionally, your experience in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives will help ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
