Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Marketing Coordinator (Contract) to join our Marketing department based in Grand Prairie, TX.

You will be an integral part of the North American Helicopters Marketing team, this position plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall marketing goals with particular focus on implementing the yearly operational plan, demonstration support and digital marketing initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, drive, passion, creativity and the ability to work closely with various team members for successful delivery of campaigns. You’ll lend support & expertise as needed across the Marketing Team to augment different functions as needed. Strong communications skills are required for this position.

Your Working Environment:

A suburb just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is home to Airbus Helicopters U.S. regional headquarters, where we have more than 1,000 employees. Your Challenges:

Primary Responsibilities:

Operational Plan Support – 40%

  • Maintain and update the marketing calendar, ensuring that all activities are aligned with overall marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team to update & develop existing & new marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers, presentations & other tools
  • Support in planning and driving marketing events for AHNA
  • Keeping the marketing operational plan current with all details to ensure full visibility for all team members
  • Coordinate with all partners to align operational plans with campaign objectives and timelines
  • Track expenses and ensure that all projects are implemented within the allocated budget
  • Help with analytics to collect Marketing return on investment across business functions

Demonstration Support : 20%

  • Assist the Demo Manager in coordinating demo schedules, locations, and logistics, ensuring all vital permits, equipment and personnel are arranged with a well though customer experience & impact
  • Act as a liaison teams & promotion material for various engagements
  • Help the Demo Team collect, update and/or develop specific marketing & promotion material for various engagements
  • Lend support during demo events, ensuring everything efficiently smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Help handle attendee registration, signage and other logistical aspects during the event

Digital Marketing – 20%

  • Lead the Save the Date/ Invitations/ Notifications aspects of Marketing Cloud for all Marketing Engagements
  • Assist the Digital Marketing manager with digital content production for effective promotion across products & services across business lines for North America region
  • Consolidate & maintain specific customer lists within Salesforce for regional & segment appropriate campaigns by coordinating with all relevant partners ensuring continuous data quality improvement
  • Support Marketing Cloud campaigns requests
  • Maintain a digital marketing dashboard to help Marketing Team learn & improve on future campaigns

Cowboys Partnership Support – 10%

  • Help with effective season delivery including ensuring seamless customer experience for any home & away game engagements
  • Using all Cowboys assets for improving return on investment including delivering a monthly report on progress / feedback & any adjustments as vital

Promotional Marketing Goods – 10%

  • Handle Marketing closet to ensure promotional items are always in stock
  • Update promotional goods’ catalogue & ensure visibility for all team members
  • Support timely delivery of all promotional material throughout

Your Boarding Pass:

Required:

  • Minimum four (4) year degree in Marketing or Business Administration: or equivalent professional experience and education
  • Minimum 1 year of confirmed experience with trade show/events/customer service. Excellent verbal and written skills are required
  • Authorized to Work in the US
  • 15% Domestic and International Travel is involved
  • Strong problem solving skills and bargaining competence
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and develop executable plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently drive marketing / communications efforts from start to finish

Preferred:

  • Aviation industry & procurement experience
  • Previous demonstrated event planning and execution capability

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite or remote: 67% Onsite
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
  • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily as required
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily as required
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Occasionally as required
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Occasionally as required
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily as required
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. 15% as required
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily

Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship/work authorization is required for this opportunity.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
