Clearstaff in Chicago is currently in need of Maintenance Mechanics for a customer located in the Chicago area, the Mechanic will perform preventative Maintenance & Emergency repairs to all packing machinery, striving to improve equipment reliability & quality, as part of the maintenance team. Hours: will be training on 1st shift 5:30AM-2PM , once training is complete you will transfer to 2nd shift 1PM-11PM.

Pay rate: $25-$30 per hour Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities Hours: will be training on Pay rate: $25-$30 per hour Fill out daily log reports,

Read schematics and blueprints to interpret, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic issues to properly and safely repair
Hours: will be training on 1st shift 5:30AM-2PM , once training is complete you will transfer to 2nd shift 1PM-11PM
Perform preventative maintenance routines on all production equipment
Install, debug and stabilize plant equipment as required

Ability to work on low voltage and 120-480vac equipment, starters, motors, vfd’s, sensors, controllers, photo-eyes, etc
Fill out daily log reports, emergency breakdown reports, work orders, and communicate with incoming shifts
Perform machine set up and repair assembly and packaging equipment

• Experience in equipment maintenance • Experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Electrical • Ability to withstand wet, cold (35-40F), humid and hot environments, Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, stand for extended hours, • Must be able to climb ladders, • Must be able to move heavy objects
