Long-Term Temporary position with potential for becoming a regular employee.
19.5 hours per week.

We are seeking an Administrative Support professional to join our team on a long-term temporary basis, with the possibility of this role transitioning into a regular position. This position is an administrative support role for our Bucks County Resident Catalog and State Certification student financials. Key responsibilities include accurate and timely processing of billing, issuance of invoices and receipts, maintaining financial billing and receivable records, recording student payments, managing outstanding student balances, maintaining collections reporting, and providing quick customer service response. Our customer service philosophy is based on the premise that sound support will lead to repeat business opportunities. This position requires a responsible, self-motivated individual that will function as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced office. This position requires flexibility in work schedules, multi-tasking, working with frequent interruptions, and meeting defined timelines for assigned tasks. This position also provides support to the Executive Directors and Project Coordinator with financial reporting and course financial needs.

Hourly Range: $21.2488 - $22.7362 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general equivalency and 3 years work experience or Associate degree.

  • 3-4 years job related experience in student accounts.

  • Knowledge of FERPA regulations.

  • Accounts receivable experience.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

  • Good problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in an active environment with constant interruptions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse student and instructor population.

  • Ability to manage a heavy workload.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the event of agitated students and/or instructors.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Valid Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Datatel/Colleague database is a plus.

  • Basic project management skills preferred.

All office staff must have a Child Abuse Clearance due to their interaction with minors in relation to courses.
