RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Retail Accountant, you will play a crucial role in compiling and analyzing financial statements for 15 to 20 grocery stores. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely income tax returns for both individual clients and corporate entities.
• Consultation & Planning: Provide operational consultation and tax planning services to enhance overall business performance and drive profitability.
• Financial Operations Support: Undertake additional tasks as needed to support and optimize overall financial operations.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience: Minimum of three years in accounting, specifically in financial statement compilation and small business consulting.
• Education: A bachelors degree in accounting or a related field is required. Familiarity with the grocery industry is a plus.
• Travel: Some travel may be necessary for client consultations and store visits.
• Skills:
• Handle Pressure: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Organization: Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
