MME is currently seeking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join our Sherwood Park operations. As a valued member of our team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients and delivering high-quality electrical solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to plan industrial and commercial electrical installations.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment/components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Install, inspect, replace, or repair commercial wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and related components.
• Work with AC/DC motors and drives, PLCs, 480V power systems, 120V control circuits, 4160V switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, and relays.
• Size and install electrical circuits, including panels, protective devices, switches, and associated equipment in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Fabricate, install, and run conduit; perform 3-phase work, motor terminations, control and instrumentation troubleshooting, and panel work.
Experience Requirements
• Registered Electrical Apprentice (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
• Previous industrial electrical experience is an asset
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Dependable and reliable with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely.

• CSTS
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and three-year driver’s abstract
• Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
