The Role

The Licensing Intern will support the Installation Support team at Peterman Brothers by assisting in the creation and organization of a licensing renewals calendar and resource library. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all trade-specific licenses held by the organization. The Licensing Intern will also assist with license renewal applications in November and December.

What Youll Do

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive licensing renewals calendar for all trade-specific licenses.
  • Develop and organize a resource library containing necessary documentation and renewal requirements for each license.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting license renewal applications during the November-December period.
  • Utilize records maintained by Peterman Brothers to gather information relevant to license renewals.
  • Establish and maintain communication with municipalities across the Peterman Brothers service area to gather updated licensing information and requirements.

What Youll Need

  • Education - Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience - 0-3 years of experience
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
    • Strong written and oral communication
    • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to adhere and meet strict adherence to deadlines
    • Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute innovative ideas
