Craftsmen Contractors is hiring Licensed Commercial Journeyman Plumbers for the New Orleans, La. area. This is for several commercial projects throughout the city, working day shifts, Monday through Friday. The projects are mostly new construction. Licensed Plumbers: $28/hour and possibly more, depending on experience Weekly pay by direct deposit. No per diem is offered. Job Duties: • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures. • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals. • Follow building plans and blueprints. • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. Job Requirements: • Must be currently licensed for plumbing work. • Will need to have basic hand tools, all PPE, and reliable transportation to get to job sites. • Plumbers should have at least 2 years of Plumbing experience • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade. • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drafts.
